Positive: Alessandra studio is a resume of the island : authenticity, quiet and wonderful scenery. The sunrise in front of the balcony is a gift. The morning silence is valuable. It is possible to swim 50 meters from the entrance. In the small harbor,I found back some memories of my first travel in Greece 25 years ago. The studio is well equipped,wardrobe and kitchen.

Negative: I recommend the first studio for a full view on the bay. The others have more shadow, but the view is behind trees.

Positive: The apartment was spotlessly clean, fully equipped with a beautiful view. Lovely traditional fishing village, four tavernas offering fresh fish at very reasonable prices ( meat also available). It is very quiet and perfect for anyone looking for total tranquillity and relaxation. Lovely island with some great beaches (transport required). All beaches are with pebbles, so beach shoes are required.

Negative: Nowhere to buy basic provisions - transport needed for closest mini-market.

Positive: - Good location in Kalamakia - Spacious balcony with a nice sea view - Had all the necessary self-catering amenities

Negative: - No contact at all from the owner after 30% deposit paid (only heard from the housekeeper occasionally) - No credit card facilities on site - Uncomfortable and creeky bed - Bathroom bin not cleaned daily (even though daily housekeeping advertised) - No parking nearby, have to walk up and down a steep hill and then in front of 3-4 tavernas to get to the apartment

Positive: Studio spacious enough, good lay out We were fortunate to have a large balcony but other studios also had good balconies..

Negative: Some of photos on booking.com are outdated as there is a taverna directly underneath studios , including your walkway. The description needs to be more accurate and honest. No nearby parking. No card transactions either , only eft or cash. On booking.com it states daily housekeeping but it was haphazard and infrequent, and a health hazard for bathroom refuse particularly in Greece. Proprietor had numerous excuses, no personal contact , but her mother was sweet and very Greek.

Summary: It is unfortunate that communication was limited with owner , cleaning lady only contact .

Negative: Nowhere to really just walk to , stenni vala next door seems close, but it's not,
