3 Bedroom Cabin in Bear Creek, Seward

A vacation trip to Alaska isn't complete until you've stayed in a real Alaskan Log Cabin that is cozy, clean, and private.
Located at the end of a quiet subdivision on a large private lot.
The large diameter logs were harvested in Haines Alaska and trucked up to Valdez where Serendipity Log Works hand peeled and scribed these logs into what I wanted.
Take a walk up and down the hand crafted all traditional mortise and tenon joinery stairs made by Precision Timberworks here in Seward.
Filled with live plants and stunning artwork from all over the world.
Enjoy the outside fire pit with your family and friends. Cook your days catch on the BBQ and enjoy a large kitchen to make your memories and meals.
Soak in a claw foot tub, (circa early 1900's) the bracket was made by local Artist James Minden who used salvaged metal from the 1964 Great Alaskan Earthquake. Or walk into a stunning tile walk in shower with pebble floor.
Construction was completed in the fall of 2016. After this it took almost two years to do the finish work and the fine detail work of sanding and staining logs, adding local art and handpicking furniture to make this house as comfortable, cozy, warm and welcoming as possible.

Summary: We spent 3 nights at the Alaskan Log Cabin. Beautiful location. 2 eagles graced our presence in the sky upon our arrival at the home. Lovely view, art work, comfortable beds... just a short drive down to Seward marina for our adventures. We enjoyed to s'mores at the firepit... and feeding the bird with the chopped peanuts left for us. Only suggestion would be more seasonings besides salt and pepper for cooking and a peeler for potatoes- as we did catch some fish that we prepared at the home. Safeway was just a 5 minute drive on the way to Seward.

Summary: This property was above what we expected. It had EVERYTHING you could possibly need. All of the small touches made us feel like well looked after guests in someone's home. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit the Seward area. We will stay hear again next time we visit Alaska.

Summary: Lovely home, loved all the plants and art/decorations. Would stay again! We did a fishing charter in Seward which this was just 10 min away.

Summary: This place exceeded our expectations in so many ways. You can tell how much thought has been put into the property. We are usually always ready to be back home at the end of a trip but this place was so comfortable in so many ways, we could have stayed longer!

Summary: Beautiful custom cabin thay is gorgeously furnished & decorated. Has all the modern conveniences. Short distance to downtown Seward restaurants & bars. Could not have imagined a better accommodation. Highly recommend!

Summary: There’s so much to love about this house! Clean, comfortable and cozy, perfect for our group of 6. The owner’s artistic touches were a bonus! Comfy beds/bedrooms, beautiful property, easy to find, quick 10 minute drive into town.
