Positive: Location was away from hustle and bustle. of downtown Seward. Very Peaceful setting in the woods, with a nice pond with running water. Laundry cabin was available and very easy to use. Kitchen was stocked with Utensils and place settings. You can save money by utilizing kitchen. Real close to Mitch Seavey Iditarod Kennels, Exit Glacier, and other Seward attractions.

Negative: I could live there. :o)

Summary: A good base for Seward attractions without the crowds.

Positive: The location near Exit Glacier and Seward were excellent. The area is just spectacular!

Negative: We could have used a toaster. The sticky Sitka spruce flowering parts were vexing and everywhere (the cabins could have an outside grate on the porch for removal before entering the cabins).

Summary: We were comfortable and loved the area.

Negative: Only mirror was on a side wall above a counter. Had to lean back n to use. Would have loved a mirror in the back of a door or a free standing mirror.

Summary: Host was excellent and the cabin was super clean. Bed was very comfortable.

Positive: We were in the Moose Cabin. It was amazing. Reasonably priced. My family of 6 stayed 2 nights and wished we could have stayed more. The cabin was clean, comfy and had everything we needed. The host was very nice. Being able to do our laundry was a nice plus too. The fire pits were awesome too. My grandsons ages 4 and 10 loved it too. Plenty of room outside to run off energy. There was a Safeway grocery store a couple miles away and Exit Glacier was only about 8 miles away. The covered porch was nicely decorated for fall and so peaceful to relax on. I highly recommend Box Canyon Cabins.
