Positive: Everything was so great! We've travelled a lot and this place truly exceeded our expectations. From the private tour of the palazzo by Raffaela, who shared her family's history, to the sumptuous breakfast and very comfortable rooms. This is Italian hospitality at its best. They gave very clear and specific driving instructions so we wouldn't get stuck on any small streets. Claudio and his English speaking daughter even came out to meet us to guide us to a free parking spot. We loved watching the sunset from our room and everything was very clean. This is really a hotel - the shared lounges were all beautifully and thoughtfully decorated too. Raffaela is such a gem. She gave us great suggestions on how to your the town, restaurant refommendations...You can rely on her to make sure your every need is met!

Negative: Absolutely nothing. Great place to overnight (or stay even longer) after visiting the mosaics at Villa Romana del Casale. In fact I would say the photos undersell the property

This beautifully restored palazzo, recently opened to guests after a meticulous and loving renovation, is a true gem. The hostess, Raffaella, welcomed us warmly at the door and helped us get our cat parked. Her husband, Claudio, kindly carried our bags to the car for us when we departed.Upon returning to our room in the evening, we found a heartfelt note inviting us to join them for a special breakfast in the morning to celebrate, Ferragosto, an important holiday. The breakfast was delightful, filled with care and local charm. Afterward, Raffaela offered us a private tour of the entire palazzo(where she was born) sharing captivating stories about its history and how they had lovingly restored the property. Her passion for the palazzo and its history made the experience unforgettable. Our hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, and their dedication to their guests and this historic property is truly remarkable. I highly recommend Al Palazzo for a unique and heartfelt experience! A stay here is not just a visit but a journey into the heart of Sicilian heritage. It was very interesting chat with them as they can tell you so much about the history of the Palace and the area, they gave good advice about places to visit in Piazza Armerina and the surroundings, unfortunately couldn't visit all. The Palazzo has been nicely restaured, you feel the history. The room is very comfortable and very quiet. Thank you for making our stay so special
