Positive: Schaffhausen is a beautiful place. We also loved the stay. The interior of the place and amenities were super good. Host was very helpful. Its very close to Spar from where we could pick food etc easily at cheap price. Although above the bar, there was no disturbance. It was easy to travel to Rheine falls. Value for money.

Negative: Bathroom door was not getting locked. Moving up the luggage was difficult due to circular steps.

Positive: The apartment was stylishly decorated and much bigger than we expected. It was a perfect location, and although we heard the bar on the Saturday night it did not stop us sleeping. Sunday night was quiet. It was easy to collect the keys, everything was clean and we were happy with the kitchen equipment.

Negative: Only one or two small things. The bathroom door did not lock (I think the lock didn't line up vertically) and the barrel lock on the apartment door pulled out slightly when extracting the key Other than that everything was wonderful and we would definitely come back here again !

Summary: Wonderful break in a beautiful apartment.

Positive: The property could have been very good however there were issues with bed covers and not having access to the second bedroom upon arrival.

Negative: When we arrived to the 2 bedroom apt. We booked for our girls trip the second bedroom was locked off and only one bed had linen. I texted twice then had the employee in the bar call owner who brought over linens and made bed. Unfortunately we found out too late that the linens on the first bed were sour smelling like they had been left in washer too long and were slightly moldy. We were exhausted upon arrival and these issues were inconvenient and annoying. If you purchase a two bedroom apartment then the 2 bedrooms should be made up and ready dispute the number of guests. Also the apartment cleanliness was not to a high standard. Note there are spiral stairs you must go up to get to apartment. Better suited for younger individual’s with lower standards.

Positive: Location is close to the Rhine falls (15 mins drive). There are lot of supermarkets/shops/public parking spaces nearby. Huge apartment with a good equipped kitchen with essential vessels and ingredients (like salt, sugar, oil, pasta etc).

Negative: The host was not responsive at all. There was no soap in the bathroom and when I communicated this to the host, there was no response. So, we had to buy a new soap bottle from the nearby shop. The approaching road/street to the property is not family friendly (bar and smokers just below the property).

Summary: Huge apartment near Rhine falls!
