The Space:
The villa is located in Verga and its an ideal destination for your all year vacation!
On the ground floor there is a open plan comfortable seating area with cozy sofa beds that can host one guest!
There is also a fully equipped kitchen and a dinning area where you can enjoy your meals gazing upon the beautiful exterior sea view!
The villa has four bedrooms in total; three on the upper floor, two with a queen size bed and the other with two singles and the fourth one on the ground floor has one cozy double bed!
There are two bathrooms one on the upper floor and another one on the ground floor, both with shower!
Relax gazing upon the magnificent sunsets on the spacious patio of the villa, swim in the big pool and prepare your meals in the BBQ of the premises!

The Neighborhood:
Our villa is located in Kato Verga just 1km to the nearest beach and within short distance to numerous others.
In the neighbourhood (within 1km) you will find a really nice grill restaurant, gas station, bakery and a café, as well as bars and clubs for an unforgettable nightlife. There is also a grocery shop (3km) and a full size super market (4.5km) nearby.
The area features many beautiful beaches, ranging from rocky to sandy, there is one for every taste! Some suggestions are Almyros beach (1.3km), Mikri Mantineia (2.4km), the long sandy beach of Kalamata (4km), and Santova beach (7km).
Kalamata is also a city with many annual cultural events, as well as a very intense nightlife with incredible entertainment options. Visit the medieval castle and its numerous museums, walk through the alleyways of the historic centre, explore the large park with the award-winning outdoors railway museum and discover the local cuisine in any of the excellent local taverns, restaurants and street food choices. The city's bus station is within 9km and the local International Airport is just 17km away.

Summary: Beautiful swimmimg pool but the water was a Little bit too cold

Summary: Host was excellent, comms very good. Property had spectacular views from top of the hill. Easy access to beaches. A few minor niggles - loud lawn mower, tree trimmer from 5am every day disturbed sleep. Shower system quite old, leaky and small bathrooms. Overall excellent place to use as a base for beaches and Kalamata.

Summary: To summarize at the beginning, even as Germans we could not find anything to complain about :) The communication with the owner of the house was absolutely easy, the house was very clean and the view from the terrace was awesome. Also get some super tips for day trips to different spots. Only the "street" to the house was quite adventurous, but also possible to do with small cars lacking horse power. We are sure, we will go there a second time. If we get the possibility.

Summary: We loved our stay in this house. Everyone so enjoyed playing in the pool and watching the beautiful sunsets from the terrace. The home was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The host met our friends (who arrived first) to be sure they found the house and explain everything, which was very nice. We would love to return someday!

Summary: The property and property manager were lovely. I fear heights so going up winding roads high up on a mountain, had I known, we may have picked something closer to sea level. I got concerned when on our way to the home we were told we would never find it, yet maps had shown me a location where restaurants and groceries were walkable. We followed someone by vehicle for about 10 minutes vertically with a sharp left to get onto the property - i was not comfortable. The view was stunning but getting anywhere on foot was not an option (some walked down, but needed a drive back). Also note, although it is a house there is no washer (laundry). We found a nice spot in town that was quick and clean. We love Kalamata and this was a short drive to restaurants, sites, and shops. Pool was nice, but seasonal so last week of May it had not warmed up enough. If you have no height issues it is really a beautiful home.
