Positive: Beautiful location and views. Rooms were very comfortable and the staff are lovely. We left something in the room and the hotel even arranged for it to be delivered to Colombo.

Negative: There was a loud group visiting at the same time and given that this is a small property it was hard to escape the noise (loud talking and music). However, the staff kindly assisted in asking them to be quieter.

Summary: Beautiful location, friendly staff, good value for money.

Positive: If you're looking for a place to unwind and disconnect - Ahas Gawwa is the place to be. It's beautifully located in the middle of nature, surrounded by green, lush mountains. We enjoyed the freshly made meals and the infinity pool. The staff is incredibly helpful and we even got a free upgrade.

Positive: It was a beautiful tranquil place with amazing views. The breakfast was incredibly yummy and tasteful. The service was excellent and the personnel were very helpful and kind. I was on my own in the hotel and they upgraded me which was wonderful and I appreciate it a lot. Loved the pool as well, felts very clean and temperature was great. Loved my stay!!!

Negative: The bathroom needed a bit of a touch up. And also even though the personnel were lovely they sometimes were watching videos which disturbed the peace and sound of nature when having breakfast or dinner. It’s just when you’re in such an amazing place you want to listen to the sounds of birds and insects and not really of videos. Apart from that, all was great!

We were greeted with the warmest, most genuine smiles, which immediately made us feel at ease. The staff are the true heart of this place. They are incredibly attentive, professional, and seem to anticipate your needs before you even ask. Every request is met with a "can-do" attitude and a warmth that feels truly special. The Room & Views: Our room is a beautifully designed haven of comfort and style. It's proper and clean, with thoughtful amenities and one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. And the view... wow! Waking up and looking out over the breathtaking landscape is a magical experience that a photo could never fully capture. The hotel's name, "Ahas Gawwa" (The Horizon), is perfectly fitting. You truly feel like you're floating above the world. Ambiance & Atmosphere: The entire property exudes a sense of peace and tranquility. It's the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The architecture blends beautifully with the stunning natural surroundings, creating an atmosphere that is both luxurious and deeply relaxing. The Food: Every meal has been a culinary delight!
