Positive: We had a surprise treat waiting for us at the first morning .. organic tomatoes bread and yogurt. It was lovely and tasty! The location is beutiful small village with very nice neighbors and a uniq place to walk around .. and the air!..!!! Would decently come again!

Negative: The porch door was squicky and made a lot of noise to the neighbors.. please if you can oil it:)

Positive: It’s a lovely traditional house and the host - Manolis - is simply the kindest person ever

Negative: There were ants inside but that’s what you get when staying in the mountains village. There was anti-ants spray in the apartment we could use too.

Positive: A nice little compact small house in a quiet traditional village in the hills of Crete (Heraklion). Well appointed and quaint in its stone construction. Host was very accommodating and helpful. Parking close by. Good WiFi. Separate elevated terrace overlooking the countryside with nice views. Excellent value for money.

Negative: All was good. Solar hot water sometimes a bit cold but had a booster. Breakfast could have been a little more more varied (too many cucumbers!!!)

Summary: A great little stone house in the Crete Hills.

Positive: This is such a gem if youre looking for a quiet stay in the mountains. The property is beautiful and has everything you need. Manolis is the most kind and helpful man, he's happy to show you his organic farm and provides delicious breakfast in the morning. I do recommend to stay here if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of a big city. Manolis can give you excellent recommendations where to go, where to eat, what to see, and the house is close to Knossos, Iraklio airport and wineries. I also have to mention that the mattress is exceptionally good!

Negative: Apostoloi is a very small village, so be aware of that when you book. However, there are shops and restaurants in the next town, Kastelli. It can be a bit noisy in the morning with dogs barking, roosters crowing etc. - so if you have a light sleep, you might want to take some ear plugs with you.
