Positive: We only stayed one night at Trappeto Vecchio as we wanted to break up our drive between Sicily and Matera but we wish we had stayed longer. The property is so beautiful and peaceful, and the rooms are so comfortable and clean. Enzo is an amazing host and we had one of the best meals of our trip made by him and his staff! The fresh orange juice he serves in the morning is also amazing. There’s a reason this place has such amazing reviews. Highly recommend staying here!

Positive: The hospitality and warmth with which we were welcomed by Enzo and his family was unique. The rooms were simple but very clean. The food - we always booked dinner in the evening - was excellent and always too much. The pool was marvellous and the surrounding area was perfect for relaxing. If you want to experience Calabria authentically, this is the right place!
