Positive: Pictures do not do this beautiful place justice! We absolutely loved our time here and wouldn’t change a thing. Giovanna was very welcoming and accommodating. I am so glad I booked here! I do recommend getting a hire car, as it will make like a lot easier/cheaper when trying to get around!

Positive: Immaculate property, spacious and comfortable rooms with a fantastic shared terrace, superb views and a lovely swimming pool! Giovanna was a brilliant host and helped make our stay really special! Thank you the extra touch of a birthday cake on my wife’s birthday!

Negative: Not a dislike but I’d say the location is good for Pisa and for Lucca but being up the hill it is not somewhere you just nip out from. Ideal for a break but perhaps not as a long term base.

Positive: Superb location with grand view, exceptional pool, excellent & clean facilities with all you need in the apartment, even offering table tennis, strategically located within driving distance from interesting sights and, not to forget, lovely host Giovanna! We had a power black out in our apartment on late Saturday evening. Despite the late hour, Giovanna was available and facilitated a call with an electrician to find a temporary solution for the night. Next day she enabled us to change apartment, so we could enjoy the rest of our stay, while the electrician would only come on Monday to check the problem. So despite the unfortunate incident, Giovanna did everything she could to find a solution and we continued to have a wonderful stay. Thank you again, Giovanna! We would definitely recommend Cima alla Serra to others and intend to come again. (Of course presuming the price remains acceptable, which was ok now, taking into account the Summer season.)

Negative: Considering the price, we were little disappointed. Booking stated that the apartment had one single bed, 1 large double bed and 1 sofa bed. Apartments only have 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed. We were surprised that the air conditioning is charged separately when it is listed on Booking as an apartment facility. We were missing basic things like detergent, sponge and kitchen towel. The opportunity to have a coffee would be also nice.

Positive: Stunning view, silence with nature sounds of crickets. Beautiful surrounding, close to cities and seaside you wish to visit in Tuscany. Everything needed is in appartment to get rest and charge batteries.

Negative: Be careful while driving narrow road! But it’s not a disadvantage at all.

Positive: Very nice and clean facility, great pool, great apartment, great view from the terrace. Very quiet. Despite what we didn’t like, we consider to come back 😊

Negative: The road to the place is almost 2 km long, very narrow, many places only space for one car at the time. Very steep and without any fence to secure you accidentally don’t crash down the hills. Happy that we didn’t meet someone going the opposite way 😊 The sofa bed and extra bed is not that good. A lot of bees near the pool. Miss the possibility to buy a cup of coffee or a drink, no food or drink available at the place.
