Positive: Fabulous House, just minutes from a lovely long beach .The house was tastefully decorated, air conditioning in all rooms and also fly screening on windows (anti mosquitos)The kitchen was lovely with great equipment, everything you need to cook at home.Host prepared and left us welcome meal ,drinks and fresh cakes for our arrival Beautiful Gardens around the house.
Negative: There was noisy mechanical diggers / construction work to build new properties very close by,This started on our 3rd day.Ir was outwith the control of the Host . It was Inconvenient ,but we didn't allow it to spoil our holiday

Positive: Maria and Giannis are magnificient hosts. They are very nice, always ready to help and make your stay comfortable. The property is within walking distance to a calm beach, and some nice restaurants. My kids and wife liked the place very much. we had a relaxing and enjoyable time.

Positive: We had a wonderful experience staying here! Upon arrival, our host greeted us with amazing hospitality and surprised us with delicious homemade food and freshly baked treats. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made us feel instantly welcome after our journey. The accommodation itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped – perfect for a relaxing getaway.
Negative: Honestly, there wasn’t really anything we didn’t like – perhaps we just slightly missed having a microwave.

Positive: We felt very cozy in the house, we had all we needed for comfy stay also to cook our meals and clean afterward. The house is very close to the beach! There are day beds and umbrellas (for free). We were greeted with a very nice welcome - a table full of tasty traditional self-made foods by Yannis mother. We were curious how to get some gluten-free and Lactose free food in the area. It is not available in every shop, but in shop close by we found milk and rice bread and in Agia Galini we found G-free toast bread. A day later, we got a cute surprise package from Yannis mother with Glunefree bread and a day later a very tasty Gluenfree cake (it tasted like a very normal cake!). We appreciated this gesture very much ♡ With a rental car, it was very comfy to get to various beaches and visit little villages close by, try local foods, see local life. One morning, on a way to the market, we got a flat tiar. With Yannis support, it was solved in less than a few hours. This place made our vacation really very special ♡
Negative: The only thing I could think of is the street to the house could be improved as it is a bit bumpy..

Positive: Everything we could hope for. The house itself is very modern and comfortable, has everything you can possibly need on vacation (washing machine, dishwasher, cooking utensils, etc.). Location is perfect, sea is nearby, a few beach cafes and restaurants with sunbeds just few minutes away and if you want calmer beach you can go a bit further. Kokkinos Pyrgos is a small, calm village, mainly promenade by the sea. It was perfect for our calm holiday with friends and a baby (although we drive a lot around the island, did not stay in the village so much). BUT!!! I think the most important thing is the hospitality we got from our host Maria! Here you can truly feel Cretan amazing hosting as she welcomed us with full fridge of prepared food with drinks, later would bring fresh cakes and also a cake for my birthday. All Cretans are really pleasant and welcoming and this stay was the real proof of that. Thank you very much!!!
