Summary: I enjoyed my stay. Hosts were very nice and helpful. It was a convenient place to stay in order to visit my sister and her husband. Surrounding neighbors very nice. I had everything I needed.

Summary: My husband and I stayed in the cottage for 5 nights while visiting his sister in Whitney. It was very clean and reasonably well-appointed, and the bed was quite comfortable. The best feature was the side porch, which looked out on a lovely little wooded garden. The landscaping, lighting, and water feature made the space feel very cozy. We spent each morning and evening there. The main house is closer to the cottage than the photos suggested, but it still felt very private. The lake is just a short walk away, and there are many dirt roads/paths for hiking around. The kayaking was lovely and there were lots of nice places for fishing. Our hosts were very responsive and went out of their way to assure that we were happy guests. I would definitely stay there again.

Summary: Ideal for just my husband and I. Loved the side deck and yard, dogs loved it too. Perfect for a quick get away close to an event we attended. Great air conditioning, which was very much needed in 104 degree weather! Quiet, clean and comfortable.
