Summary: This is an older unit which has been renovated and is located in an older, quiet neighborhood which fronts the river and is less than a half a mile from San Marco's restaurant area. The pictures do not do justice to the fantastic view of the river and the spaciousness of the unit. If the weather was not cloudy, we watched the dolphins play and the sunset every evening in the sunroom. Spectacular! Very clean and organized with everything you need for your stay. I felt safe walking to the restaurants and for my morning jog. The owners were very prompt when I messaged them for this or that. A couple of things to be aware of though...steep narrow steps lead to the 2nd floor entrance, being an older unit the shower is more of a gentle stream and the bath is pretty small. The common area outside does have a table and chairs but is a small space which does overlook a huge dock (that's a plus). The grill looked pretty rusty, and we decided not to mess with it so I cannot speak to whether is it functional and appeared to be a communal grill for the units. Overall, we all thought a great place, even family which lived in the area. So many things to love about the location and the unit.

Summary: Great stay - we were in town for AAU Track & Field Nationals at UNF Hodges stadium. This apt was perfect get-away. 2nd floor unit had great views. A/C worked wonderfully - fans in every room. I had everything I needed in kitchen to prepare power breakfast & meals for my athlete. All appliances worked. Coffee pot had Keurig and regular pot. I brought the wrong coffee filters but host had filters already provided - nice touch. Also provided two ice trays so we used spring water to make our ice (FL tap water is not our favorite!!). Hot water worked every time for showers. Regarding the “squeaky queen bed” yes! It squeaks every single time someone moves on bed. We think it’s actually the box spring that makes the noise but hard to tell. However, bed itself was comfortable and we were so tired each night after day in Florida heat that we just passed out. My husband says he would stay again despite the squeaky bed “just because of that view!”San Marco neighborhood is walking distance. And it’s a short drive around River to other restaurants. We recommend Carolina Jax burgers and that European Street Cafe was a nice change. And tried Mayday, Millie’s, Dreamette and Waffle Cone for ice cream. Of course, supporting Bitty & Beau’s mission for a cup of coffee or smoothie is a must!If there’s another track & field event in Jacksonville next year, we’d definitely stay at this apt again — & we’ll hope we actually have time to get our fishing gear out of our car on that visit!!

Summary: Had issues with locking Kwiset lock. I have an identical one at my house so I'm very familiar with how it works. We simply could not lock it when we left.

Summary: We loved the area—nice to have the dock out back! Nice little area with lotsa cute shops/eateries Driving in Jacksonville caused anxiety -Lol Laundry outside in building was a bit of a hassle -but got my exercise going up/down steps -Haha Thankful we had those appliances though We would definitely stay again Also -all my questions were answered promptly Thanks ❤️

Summary: San Marco is a fabulous community. We felt so safe here, which is of paramount importance when traveling with my daughters. The unit itself has everything you need, and is incredibly comfortable, plenty of space for our family. Y'all, the views are phenomenal! Catching the sunset over the St. Johns River is emotionally moving. The spacious dock provided an opportunity for memories to be made, and served as the perfect backdrop to candid family photographs. Short trip to downtown JAX, and St. Johns Town Center for shopping. Amazing place, incredible hosts, no issues whatsoever.
