Positive: Charming little garden house in a beautiful garden, reasonably comfortable for a short stay. The outside is lovely, perfect for spending long summer evenings.

Negative: The inside of the house was very cluttered with stuff, and didn't feel very welcoming. Overall okay, but some things were not working properly (a window here, a faucet there) which was inconvenient.

Negative: Heating temperature is remotely controlled by the host; and is not comfortable in winter. Once you find out how, you change that (although not allowed). The bed cover was way too thin for April nights. The garden is directly next to a busy road.

Positive: Lovely setting. Very nice log cabin décor-wise. Helpful young man greeted me. Free-roaming goats were great to see

Negative: It could really have done with a thorough clean. Smelt strongly of dog in the sitting room especially. A shame because otherwise good. Very near noisy road so not for longer holidays. As a one-night stay when tired from travelling it was fine.
