Positive: The layout and decor were wonderful with a view of the bay. The location was great - 5 minutes to the port townsend ferry and not far from coupeville for dinner. It's in a quiet neighborhood too.
Negative: It was very stressful getting into the property, even though my husband is a realtor and has used lock boxes for 40 years. We called to get help and learned that there is a different lockbox with a key. We thought about taking our luggage with us in case we couldn't get back into the house for our 2nd night. Also we couldn't get the thermostat- - to go above 52 degrees.

Positive: The views were stunning with big windows and a porch to soak in the Puget sound and Olympic mountains in the distance and the yard was perfect for my pup to run and play ball. Would absolutely stay here again.
Negative: While absolutely zero fault of the home itself, the navy planes flying over were extremely loud. I knew about them in advance and had looked up their flight schedule so could plan around it. I cheered every time they flew over the house so my dog ended up thinking it was a fun game and chasing them in the yard (thank goodness!). But if someone is sensitive to loud noises or if you have young kids who go to sleep earlier in the evening, this might be a problem for you.
Summary: Beautiful home and wonderful stay. Would stay again!

Positive: The house was beautiful. The view was as good as the pictures. Everything was spotlessly clean. The location, about three miles from the ferry, was great.

Positive: The view from the entire back of the house is spectacular. The house was large and comfortable. Our puppy especially enjoyed romping in the huge fenced in yard.
Negative: While there was a French press and single cup keurig type coffee maker. We would have appreciated a full size drip coffee maker.

Positive: Location was good. It is between two cities so it’s about the same drive to both. Close to the private beach front and I mean like a 1-2 min drive. Loved the backyard and deck. All fenced in for pets. Had everything you would need. Loved the view. Very beautiful.
Negative: The only thing I had trouble with was the passcode to enter the house. It’s a little bit tricky and was so long that you pretty much had to memorize it and key it in very fast. Not something that would sway me from staying here again for sure.
Summary: Family stay plus kid and pet. Great experience!
