Summary: The inn is kind of ramshackle. We stayed in "Wilderness." The private bathroom had been updated (though the workmanship was rough), but the rest of the room was just old and worn. We realized that we should have brought food to cook for breakfast after seeing the paper bag breakfast provided (need a hearty breakfast before a big hike.) There was coffee in the lobby in the morning but with a sign not to fill large cups, so maybe go to Stewart's if you like more than a 12 oz cup. I will find a better option for my next trip to the Adirondacks.

Summary: Room was very comfortable but paint was peeling and was a bit worn. Walls very thin so could hear talking from other rooms.Unfortunately we tried to go to restaurant but it was very crowded at 530pm so we went somewhere else, it looks nice! Check in was easy and everyone so nice .I would stay again but probably try for the lodge or end room , it would help to have a Keurig or coffee maker in room.PERFECT location for high peaks hiking !!! Cute fireplace outside and swing !!! People so NICE !!!
