Positive: Location was perfect for a show we were attending at the Paramount- walked there and back- took 10 minutes. The cozy bar was pure NYC vibes- loved it. Food ordered from bar was off the charts!

Negative: We have nothing negative to say!

Negative: No free bottled water, no tea or coffee in the rooms, not enough coat hangers, small details, over all very happy

Positive: Bed, pillows and shower, and toiletries were decent. Lobby bar was good and was lively with DJ sets on Fri/ Sat nights. Metro station across the road was handy for JFK Airtrain, and easy to get to other Metro lines too nearby so good for access to Manhattan and other boroughs.

Negative: Room was very dark and felt a bit tired, and carpets could have been cleaner. Lack of mirrors. Poor lighting , one of which failed continually. Hairdryer poor. Lack of privacy - directly facing apartments might be a problem for some. Maybe a bit too cool for school- lobby was always busy with people on their laptops- apparently mostly non-residents. Minibar prices were ridiculous. Directly across the road was a homeless charity shop so could be a bit edgy for some on the street outside. Slow elevators. Rumble of trains from an early hour wasn’t welcome.

Summary: Pleasant enough stay but would consider other areas in Brooklyn next time, or Lower Manhattan

Positive: The staff. 100% fabulous. No additional comments necessary. Thank each one of them (Honestly: the human element is the most important luxury for me, a solo traveller).

Negative: Some of the details in my room a little sub par: no spoons or coffee or tea for the water boiler. My bedside light had the droops and so had to prop it up on a pillow...
