Positive: Spacious, located at the town centre , near the shops and eateries

Negative: The property could be improved by having a refrigerator, microwave and a hairdryer

Summary: The booking.com price was not the actual price to be paid. And i have to pay additional to be able to access more rooms

Positive: The location was great, the host was really friendly and helpful and even lent me a local sim card while I was there. The kitchen was big and well equipped, the house was traditional and cosy. There was a yard with buckets and water to wash clothes. They arranged a massage to visit the house for me and a guide for the places I needed a guide to visit.

Negative: I couldn't find the location at all. The pin on booking.com was actually right but the house is behind the shops on the main street, up a narrow alley. Nobody in the shops had heard of it and I had to get a cafe to phone them for me. This could be avoided with a simple sign by the path or better directions on the profile. (NOTE- it was January when I went so maybe this has changed). There is no Wifi. This is probably the same in all accommodations and even the cafes- there is one new restaurant that has it so this is not a fault of the house but people need to be aware of it before they come and maybe get a local SIM card. They are great value in the Philipppines! This house seems to be popular with groups of Filipinos so my advice is- if the kitchen is free use it! Filipnos love to cook and eat and cook and eat and cook and eat and when they get in the kitchen it might be some time before it's free! ( They are also very generous so if they are cooking, say hello and they will probably offer you some of what they are making!) There was a problem with the payment. Again, I think this was the fault of booking.com and not the property but you should check you don't pay twice like I did
