"Everything about this stay was great; the location, the cabin, the lake, and the owners. Such a neat experience, we didn't want to leave!"

"This little cabin had all the touches to feel like home - from a well stocked kitchen, to beach towels, to chairs in many places outdoors, it felt well thought out and very easy to enjoy. The location is ideal for exploring West Glacier but also is very close to Columbia Falls for services and restaurants. It’s the perfect place to start and end the day! Cabin itself is small but has everything you need. Bed is comfy, water is hot, and everything is clean. We took the boat out but mostly enjoyed watching the loon from the dock. Neighbors are quiet. Thanks for sharing your space…. Definitely recommend!"
''The wildlife has been something to behold! Seven Black Bears, two Mountain Goats, Deer and the majestic beauty of the Loons! We will never forget.'' Carl & Lola

The cabin was amazing!!! We couldn’t believe how much stuff there was here for us in the cabin. Would love to come back here for sure!! The loons were so pretty to listen to in the morning. Thank you for everything! Very Beautiful!

Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us! We are a family of 5 (2 teens and a 12 year old). The cabin was perfect. We spent time both in the park (mostly West side) and here on the lake. The kids loved to swim and paddle around the lake! We saw one of the loons floating along from the porch one day! Going to the sun Road was open, and we loved it! We were above to hike Avalanche Lake, visit Lake McDonald and stop at many of the spectacular falls and vistas along the way. We hiked on snow packed ground in our shorts and T shirts at Logan’s Pass. There were people sledding, skiing and building snowmen. Some who were in flip flops or sandals were regretting it, though. The weather has been beautiful (75-85 degrees) and no rain. We are headed to the East side today to stay at a cabin. We hope to visit Two Medicine, Many Glacier, and St. Mary’s. Thank you again!

We had a great time here at the cabin. We were impressed at how well stocked the cabin was. Even bear spray! Wow! The loons were great fun to watch and the kids loved the rowboat. It was wonderful to have a comfy place to come to after a rainy hike. We didn’t see much wildlife on this trip. There was a bald eagle flyover at Lake McDonald, a few other birds, but not much else. I was impressed that you had filed guides and binoculars. This was such a calm, peaceful place. We didn’t want to leave.

''I love this place! The lake is so peaceful and good fishing too! It took a while to find the spot but we found it and caught a mess of fish (5 Trout, 1 Bass, and more Perch and Sunfish than I can count). It's beautiful on the lake and I hope I can visit again someday when I have kids.'' Alan G.
''We experienced abundant wildlife at the lake: Loons, Mallards, Hares, Osprey, and Hummingbirds. The family of Loons greeted us every morning. We can only hope that your stay in Montana is as memorable and spiritual as ours has been. We are saddened as we pack our belongings because this is truly God's country.'' Sincerely Travis & Katie
''We had such a great time here-you made us feel right at home. The cabin is so clean & comfy. This little corner of the world is truly paradise. The lake, the cabin, the whole setting is just so peaceful & relaxing. We can't wait to come back.'' Wendy & Eddy
''Spoon Lake is a dream. Beautiful views, enchanting Loons, heavenly scents in the air and the sky seems so big! Summary: Very nice property! Had everything we needed.

Summary: This was the perfect place to stay! The cabin is small (but perfect for a couple or 3 people), high quality, tranquil, but close enough to town (if need be), close to West Glacier (and all it has to offer), and near all these great small towns with lots of character. The cabin itself is so charming, and there’s a row boat on a clean, calm lake with fish that can be seen right from the dock. The owner also provided fishing poles and tackle, all clean, solid, good condition! If we had realized how perfect the cabin and location were before we came, we definitely would have booked at least a week, maybe two!You will love this! You do need to be able to climb a ladder (unless you want to sleep on the couch) to get to bed, but it’s very stable.Really a great find! Just book for a whole week. You won’t regret it!

Summary: We absolutely loved this rustic space! The view of lake and mountains was delightful. It was a perfect location for adventure into the park and tranquil time to connect with nature and each other. We will definitely return! Thank you for sharing it with us.

Daniel B. May 26, 2025 11:28:32 AM
Summary: This was our first time in Montana and it was wonderful! The cabin was perfect - we had the rowboat, hammock, and grill to make the evenings perfect. It was cool and rainy during our stay so the fireplace was amazing! The kitchen was fully furnished, so it was easy for making all our meals in. We were only 20 mins from the west Glacier entrance and were able to get in plenty of hiking. We were so sad to leave and hope that we can return again next year. We were so relaxed and truly enjoyed our stay.

Summary: A great place to get away from it all. Very peaceful location. There are cabins nearby, but there are fences and we never heard anything from either of them. The private dock is great and we caught a few perch. The views from the cabin are beautiful. My only negative would be the ladder up to the sleeping area. It did make me a little uneasy getting off the ladder onto the landing. But this was completely disclosed in the property details, so I don't fault the owner. It was just me. The cabin is not far from Glacier or a quick trip into Columbia Falls. My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend.

Summary: Quiet and peaceful cabin on a nice lake. Fishing on the dock was nice and relaxing after a long day of hiking.
Lori L. Sep 26, 2024 08:21:13 AM
Summary: We absolutely loved this cabin and property! It was perfect for the two of us! We loved the beautiful lake and we took the boat out one evening and caught some perch! Sunsets were gorgeous! It was so quiet and peaceful! We would absolutely recommend this cabin and hope to come back someday!
Keira K. Sep 22, 2024 12:20:05 AM
Summary: We had a lovely stay at the cabin while visiting Glacier. It had everything we needed to prepare our meals, the bed was very comfortable, and the lake was beautiful. The area is calm and quiet. We would definitely return.
