Positive: Gorgeous property with a delightful enclosed atrium containing a pot belly fire and a view over the water, we lived in that room! We spotted horses in the distance, birds, ducks and were greeted by the owners friendly dog. The chalet is really spacious, the beds super comfy and we had plenty of warmth for a winter stay with the air con and fire. The owner left us nice little treats including milk, eggs, bread and cookies. Property is super close to Denmark town and a short drive to so many local sights, the ocean, the forest and bucket loads of wineries, distilleries, gourmet food eateries.
Negative: Honestly it was all fantastic. Possible improvements could be a privacy screen between the owners house and the chalet, and a bath for a good long hot soak!
Summary: Blissful, everything we were needing for a winter getaway

Positive: It was such a peaceful and beautiful place. Wish I could have stayed here longer. Firstly the patio is all glass and looks out to such a peaceful and beautiful scenery that brought all of us so much peace and joy. There were horses , ducks and a very friendly dog too. The patio had a brilliant fire place with lots of good pieces of wood to make a good fire. All fire starters and matches were provided too. Such a warm and relaxing placr to sit and unwind. Then the kitchen was so cosy and well equipped it was so easy for us to cook. You could even bake there if you would like. The place came with home made cookies, butter, marmalade, a whole half gallon of milk and bread too. Such a brilliant hospitable thing to do for travellers who spend a long day driving. Then the tree was filled with apples and lemons which they so generously told us to take . They were the icing on the cake. Then the bbq grill was a big one and we had fun grilling on it, it worked so well. The grocery is not too far away , drive before it gets dark. The road in is very dark after sunset. Love the area and the trees, and farmland, and the stars at night too
Negative: Nothing, liked everything about this place
Summary: A slice of Heaven on Earth!

Positive: Magical place, just what we needed. There were beautiful stars at night and the place wasn’t too far from town and places like The Dam/Ducket Mills wine (the best cheese platters here!). Would recommend for sure, we loved our stay.
Negative: Nothing! All was great
Summary: The perfect, peaceful getaway

Positive: Loved the "porch" with great 180deg view of property and dam/lake, horses, ducks and other bird life. The solitude was brilliant. The starter pack of eggs, bread, butter, and chocolates was very appreciated.
Negative: Internet speed was just adequate given we had no Optus Mobile reception. But no a deal breaker.
Summary: We'd happily stay here again for the solitude and outlook.
