Summary: Wonderful, cosy house in a valley south of Venaco. Very spacious terrace, large garden and 10-15 minutes walk to a great swimming spot in the river. We were there with our 3 kids age 9-13. Difficult road down to the house (offroad track), but Jean is a wonderful host - he drove our luggage down.

Summary: Jean is a very kind and helpful host and his house ist just wonderful. Its a fantastic base to explore this part of the island and for day hikes in the mountains. Every day after our trips we were looking forward to relax in the garden and to go down to the river for a swim. Really a great place, it was hard to leave...

Summary: This was one of the best places we've stayed, and I can't say anything bad about it. Completely hidden, and surrounded by nothing but amazing mountain views and beautiful wilderness, The house is very clean and well equipped, and the natural bbq and real fire were a plus. Not a sound a night, and completely dark except for the moon. Jean was very amenable and welcoming and has good knowledge of many things, including the mountain hiking trails which was good for us. Close to the local village where we had a few stunted chats (due to our bad french) with the locals who are friendly and interested. A couple of local restaurants and bars, and the train station is there too, so we were easily able to take the local mountain trains on our treks. The local wines and cheeses are a must, Cap Corse produce is renowned and for good reason.
