Positive: This place is a hidden gem. It is just slightly off stage of the Camino in a little town called Furelos, just before Melide. Furelos has 3 bar/ cafe/ restaurants that are 500meters- 1 km away. We had our best night of sleep on a comfortable very matress. They have a big common area with couches, table, and a kitchen. There's a also a large patio in back. Pay attention to messages from the owner. He will give you a more direct path from the Camino that avoids walking on the shoulder of the highway.

Positive: Lovely place to stay, especially as we were four adults. Plenty of space and privacy, as well as comfort and cleanliness. Super considerate owner. We walked to the house for a one night stay on the Camino Primitivo/Francés. Arrived tired, hungry, thirsty, etc. What a wonderful surprise to find the place stocked with an abundance of fruit, snacks, breakfast food and drinks. We also appreciated the hot showers with perfect water pressure to truly soothe our aching muscles. We got an excellent recommendation for dinner from the owner who also wisely advised us to make a reservation, and to take a taxi there at night (6 euros ). We followed the advice and were grateful to have done so. The restaurant was Casa Alongos and the driver was very nice and took us back to the home afterwards as well. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Summary: A fabulous experience for a different kind of Camino lodging....
