Summary: The owner met us at the property and showed us round which was nice. Good location, within walking distance of the city centre for eating out. The apartment was on several levels and 72 steps upwards from the street, not for those who struggle with their fitness level. Parking was a problem at times as well in the small backstreets. Apartment was really well equipped for our stay, bed was comfortable but the aircon did not really cool down the bedroom which was on a mezzanine level.

Summary: We really enjoyed being in Catania. Our host was very helpful and easy to get a hold of. The apartment was very comfortable, quiet, well equipped and in the centre of Catania.

Summary: We were so pleased with our stay in this apartment. From the on time meeting with our hostess, Francesca, to our nightly glass of wine on the terrace everything was perfect. The apartment is beautifully decorated and functional as well. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal and was well stocked with breakfast items, oils and vinegar and spices. As it was 90 plus degrees while we were there, coming home to an air conditioned apartment was a life saver. The nightly breeze on the terrace was a welcome presence at sunset. The apartment is within a five minute walk of the Duomo, the market and the Bellini opera house. We would rent this apartment again without hesitation.

Summary: First impressions when entering Catania is a bit of a shock with all the graffiti and litter all over the place but it soon gets better when you find the nicer areas. This property was excellent but will not suit anyone who cannot handle stairs as there are about 70-75 steps to the front door. Comfortable bed (but it may not suit very tall people or very large people as there are narrow stairs leading to the bedroom that has an arching low ceiling but very nice and quirky. Lovely sitting room and kitchen. Plenty of hot water and very good shower. Once you settle in the house is very comfortable and appealing. Francesca is very friendly and accommodating. Five minutes walk and you are by the Duomo, also near the university plaza, close to shops, cafes, bars and restaurants- make sure you visiit Via Santa Filomena (a street full of restaurants)

Summary: 10/10 for this apartment! Area safe, accessibility to all the local attractions. (Duomo is 350 metres away), cleanliness and quiet. There is literally everything you could think of included in this flat- from pots, pans, dishes, fluffy towels etc. If you think you might need it, Francesca has already included it! The bed was comfortable. The only slight drawback was the construction across the street. But there is construction everywhere. Work noise was halted around 3pm. If you are out and about, you won’t even know it was going on. 100% recommend this apartment.

Summary: This is a truly beautiful apartment in a wonderful location, near the Duomo and historic centre. Catania was a real surprise, lots of excellent places to eat and places to see. Sad though some of the churches closed, though others open after restoration. The apartment was everything we wanted and the terrace was beautiful with stunning views. Our hostess and her friend were always reachable and very helpful. Highly recommended

Summary: This beautiful apartment was very comfortable and the owner had provided for our every need. It was spacious and very comfortable and we enjoyed returning to it at the end of a long hot day out. The aircon was a lifesaver as the weather was extremely hot and we also loved the powerful shower! The view from the rooftop balcony was fantastic and we felt very lucky to have found such an oasis of an apartment. Would highly recommend staying here if you plan to visit Catania.

Summary: We only stayed in the apartment one night and we were so impressed by it. The photos do not do it justice as this is an apartment that has been refurbished to a high standard yet retains character and charm. It has every amenity you could need with great views from the rooftop terrace. Francesca was always prompt in replying to any queries and is a very hands on host. Conveniently located for numerous historical sites as well as the train station and the airport bus. Highly recommended

Summary: We have just spent a great week in this apartment. Francesca was a lovely host and went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. The roof terrace is a real bonus with far reaching views of Mount Etna. The apartment is very well equipped and there was all the things we would need until we were able to get to the shops.
