Summary: Lovely place with nice furniture and beautiful main room. Breakfast was truly excellent ---including local cheese, coffee and jams--- and the host was very helpful. It is right in the Centro Histórico of Paraty, close to where the boats leave from. Many restaurants close by.

Summary: Splendid experience, more of a home stay than a hotel, the house only hosts 3 rooms. We felt immediately at home, the staff are your lifelong friends the moment you step in.

Summary: Patricia (who speaks impeccable English) is a longtime resident of the area with many connections who is able to give recommendations for dinner or boating or history walks. She also serves a variety of very local fruits, coffee, butter, cachaça, etc. truly hospitable and highly recommended for a personal experience

Summary: A Casa de Paulo Autran is a magical guesthouse in the heart of Paraty. The house is beautiful and comfortable, with everything you need and more. The best part wasn’t the incredible breakfast or tasting some local cachaça at night, but our host Patricia who shared her knowledge and love for this town. She arranged everything for us, all transportation, a private boat trip and a wonderful visit to Fazenda Bananal. She was absolutely wonderful and we hope to be back someday soon.
