A little corner of France in the hamlet of La Fage, Anglars St Felix is a barn built in stone 150 years ago and is completely renovated with taste and authenticity and lots of charm and character. Exposed beams, parquet floors, stone walls and wood stove.
Spacious and comfortable accommodation in a traditional style but with modern facilities.
The cottage has two double bedrooms which are bright and spacious, each with its own bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a balcony. Downstairs, the kitchen is modern and fully equipped and the open plan to the living room and dining room communicate by two doors onto a private terrace with barbecue and views of the countryside.
The pool is 9m x 4m and is heated by 6 solar panels and is secured with a fence. There is a large terrace area with a shelter and sun loungers where you can relax while watching a magnificent view of the open countryside.
At your request we can provide a high chair, a travel cot, a playpen, a baby bath and a booster.
All the shops in the village of Rignac are 5 km from the cottage.
There is an abundance of activities near the cottage: swimming pool, restaurants, markets, shops, canoeing, mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking, fishing. or at 8kms you could visit the village of Belcastel 'one of the most beautiful villages in France' or the medieval town of Villefranche-de-Rouergue with its rich historical heritage and its very typical Thursday morning market,
And our entire department, with its large natural spaces, the valleys of Aveyron and Lot, Aubrac, the gorges of Tarn, Larzac, the Lévézou plateau and its lakes ... ... its villages of character : NAJAC, CONQUES, SAUVETERRE DE ROUERGUE, BOZOULS, CIRQ LAPOPIE ........ and the essential Millau Viaduct

Summary: We spent a month at this delightful gite and had a few friends visit during the stay. The gite is in a beautiful rural location, yet centrally located to many wonderful medieval towns, villages and super walking tracks. The hosts Lynne and Gary were extremely helpful and were always available to answer any queries yet kept their distance otherwise. As the gite is not walking distance to any restaurants etc we tended to eat out at lunchtimes and cooked at the gite in the evenings which was well equiped. And of course the private use of a lovely pool was a big bonus. I would point out that as the bedrooms and bathrooms are on upper levels it may not suit everyone especially if you're unsteady on your feet. And be prepared for occasional farmyard smells and some flies as this is all part of a true country experience. Overall we really enjoyed our time here. Thank you

Summary: This was an excellent holiday. The facilities were good and the location was perfect. A very quiet spot in the country but close enough to all local places of interest. The gite has a lovely patio where we spent 13 breakfasts and 14 dinners - it rained on the last morning! - and the swimming pool was a great benefit. Lynne and Gary responded to any problems quickly but otherwise left us to our own devices. Would certainly recommend this gite,

Summary: If you are looking for a place to relax and really get away from it all, then this is the place for you. Located in the beautiful French countryside, about 4km from the small town of Rignac, this gite has been tastefully decorated & has a well equipped kitchen, two modern bathrooms with showers, & a private swimming pool. The owners, Lynne & Gary, were very welcoming & provided a welcome pack of local information & things to do in English & French. Should you wish to venture further than the pool, the gite is located in an area of outstandingly beautiful villages including Conques, St Antonin de Nobel Val & Estaing. An hour & half drive away is the Gorges du Tarn, Millau Viaduct, & historic town of Albi. The area is good for walking & cycling, with some challenging hills! The two wooden chairs in the garden provided the perfect way to end the day; watching the sun go down with a glass of Gaillac wine. Highly recommended & a shame we were only there for a week.

Summary: The cottage is beautiful in a nice surroundings. Everything you need is present in the cottage. Garden (with chickens) and swimmingpool are excellent. The view is amazing. Complete privacy but if you need help Gary and Lynn are very helpful. We enjoyed our vacation very much.
