Positive: The apartment was attractive, spacious and clean, and the location was excellent. The furnishings were very comfortable. We were happy with our stay. The owner was prompt and responsive when we had questions.

Negative: Although the owner was responsive, we thought It would have been very helpful to have written instructions available for the heaters, shower, and the front door, or to have had a demonstration when we arrived. We encountered some questions late at night and did not want to disturb him. Also, we did not find a wi-fI password, if one was available. We felt like this property could go from excellent to exceptional with attention to these few details, and the addition of a few amenities, such as a box of Kleenex, a roll of paper towels, and some good coffee to assist visitors before they have a chance to get to the grocery.

Summary: This is a great rental in Portree for those who do not have accessibility issues. It does have a number of stairs.

Positive: The apartment is very well done and comfortable. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The location in Portree was ideal Helpful hint - make dinner reservations in advance. The Chinese restaurant down the street was not bad for our first night take away dinner

Positive: The appartment is very nice and cosy! We could not find a thing we did not like. Good beds, good equipement in the kitchen, and very nice in the centre of the town.

Negative: The shower has almost no power. You can wash yourself, thats about it. But This is not a very big issue. Because it works and it is hot or cold as you please.

Negative: Beds were too firm and it was expensive and there was only 1 bathroom! [surprising for a place that can hold 6 - we would never stay here if we had brought another couple.]
