Positive: A really comfortable studio just minutes walk from the center or Brantome with shops, restaurants and cafes in pedestrian walkways. The owners had thought of EVERYTHING to make a stay comfortable and easy and had provided it. The space is open and feels spacious and airy(with the bedroom and bathroom downstairs). The covered deck was perfect for our evening meals and morning coffee. With off street parking, this is a perfect place to spend days wandering around the northern Dordogne with its stunning Chateaux, abbeys and churches and rolling countryside and woods. So much history. The pool was lovely and peaceful and a great way to cool off after a day of exploring. We can't wait to go back!

Positive: Location in the town close to the center and easy to walk everywhere but very quiet, apartment was clean and had everything you would need kitchen was really well setup. Bed was comfy.

Negative: The spiral staircase to the bedroom was very tight so consider it if you have trouble with stairs. Pool is situated at opposite end to the apartment and you have to walk down the road as there is no access on the grounds of the property, the road is very quiet.

Summary: Lovely apartment nice stay, lovely hosts.

Positive: The welcome. The extras : flowers, small carafe of wine, tea , coffee etc Beautifully restored, especially the staircase. Very peaceful and lovely town.
