Positive: Had a fantastic stay at 89 Steps for a few days in the second half of September 2024. Maria and her family were very kind and amazing hosts. They went out of their way to make me feel at home. Thank you for everything! The apartment was very clean, cosy and had absolutely everything a traveller may need to spend a nice vacation. I would stay there again. 🙂

Positive: I loved everything about staying here, the location, view, cleanliness, facilities and all the many extras my host, Maria, had kindly provided. Fruit, wine, beer, water, coffee pods, biscuits, crackers and much, much more. First aid items, sewing kit, beach towels and bag, the list goes on and on. The view is amazing in all directions, it's very peaceful, beautiful balcony and small internal patio. Finally, Maria is a wonderful host who met me at the port, was in constant touch and couldn't have been more kind and caring. The place to stay in Symi!

Positive: If we could give 11 as rating, we definetely would! -Veeery warm welcome. Maria is an amazing host and very lovely person. She picked us up from the ferry and gave us some recommendations. Even after the check out she and her man helped us:) -The appartment was very clean and very good equipped included fruits, wine, tea, coffee, sweets etc. :) -Perfect location and balcony with the fantastic view over the bay and the harbour. We definetely recommend 89 Steps!

Positive: we absolutely loved the house, its colours, all the things needed were already there (washing machine, iron, even toiletries!) and the fantastic balcony, from where quietly look at the harbour and stars. Maria is absolutely a gem as a host, she thought about everything needed in a house, gave us advices and two lifts to the ferry. At the end of our stay we loved also the 89 steps! made connections with the neighbours...and cats!

Negative: nothing, absolutely nothing.

Positive: Oh boy, where to start! Host Maria personally met us off the boat - even though the apartment is actually right on the main harbour, arriving for the first time all properties seem to be in a maze of side paths and steps, which is, of course, the higgledy-piggledy beauty of Symi. Inside, the apartment is gorgeous, really comfortable and extremely well equipped, even with a washing machine, and everything, including the WiFi and the aircon, worked excellently. Maria had thoughtfully even stocked the fridge with welcoming wine, beer, juice and fruit. If all that wasn't enough, the view of the sea and the hills from the balcony took our breath away and was perfect for drinking wine and taking photos in the evening as the sun went down. This is a very special place with a very special host on a very special island, and we fully intend to come back!
