Marina District - 1 block from the marina and nature park. Private home with a fenced backyard. Wood deck, shade trees, patio, patio table & chairs with umbrella, tropical landscaping, small pond, outdoor lighting and an outdoor shower. Backyard viewable through the glass patio doors as you work in the kitchen. Dining table in separate room seats 6. Leather parsons chairs. Pass-through bar from kitchen to the living room with leather bar chairs.
Fresh, cool paint colors. Laminate floors throughout, except the bathroom which is tile. Fully-furnished very workable kitchen with pots/pans/dishes/cooking utensils plus dishwasher. Lots of counter prep space. Under-counter lighting on upper cabinets.
Suitable for families or couples.
Central heat and air. 2 bedrooms, each with bed, wall cabinets, ceiling fan and closet.
Master bedroom has a wall-mounted TV with cable. Pull-out sleeper sofa sleeps 2. High-speed WiFi. Digital cable with music channels. Digital telephone with free long distance calling within the US and Canada! Stackable full-size washer and dryer inside the house in a separate closet off the kitchen.
The house is painted in refreshing seaside colors and neutrals. Our lovely home is comfortable and generously furnished with movies, pots and pans, dishes, utensils, appliances and cooking gadgets. One covered parking space and room for a second or third car on the street.
Linens are included - bath and kitchen towels and sheets. Keypad entry. Key pickup is NOT required. Private.
Things to Do: The marina and nature park is just a tad over a block away at the end of the street. There are numerous shops and restaurants just under a mile away. Sunbathing, swimming, volleyball and playground equipment are at the beach, along with a covered pavilion that can be reserved for private use. Gulfport is a very active community and there is always something going on, from the twice-monthly Art Walk, to the monthly Green market, the Weekly Tuesday Fresh Market, and other special events. These events include: Gecko Fest, Retro-Rama, SpringFest, 4th of July parade/antique car show/crafts festival/fireworks, sailing regatta, summer concerts, Pink Flamingo Tour of Homes, annual Lighted Boat Parade.
Gulfport has excellent restaurants, an exciting night life, a fishing pier, marina with public boat ramp, works by local and national artists and photographers, tennis and shuffleboard courts, a library and a performing arts theater. Pinellas Bike Trail - easy access from Gulfport! Location and Local Area Information: Gulfport is a quiet, cozy beachside community established in the early 1900's. It is located on Boca Ciega Bay with views of St Pete Beach to the west and Isla del Sol to the South.
Located 30 minutes from Tampa and Tampa International airport or from St Pete Clearwater airport, 10 minutes from downtown St Petersburg & Tropicana Field, 30 minutes from Clearwater, 15 minutes from St Pete Beach,/Pass-A-Grille and 20 minutes from Fort DeSoto Park, 1 mile WALK to Gulfport Beach. Close to Stetson and Eckerd Colleges.
