Positive: The owner was always very helpful since before arrive at the room, indicating how to arrive and replying really fast to any question I could have. Beyond that the neighborhood is really nice and there is everything at hand (stores, BTS, restaurants...) with a small street market near the building.

Negative: I wouldn't recommended it for long stays, at least for me the bed was too hard and after a couple of days I started feeling pain on my back. Also the cleaning could improve, when I entered I clearly saw it was not clean (I have to add it wasn't a dirty place either but some important spots like the bathroom wasn't ok). And the last bad point is the distance with the center, the BTS is close but the line is long and many times requires changing to another public transport (If you move by taxi this problem is smaller).

Positive: The BTS station was nearby and the room was quiet and nice. My favorite Khao Man Gai restaurant in Bangkok is also nearby, so I'd like to stay here again when I come to Bangkok.

Positive: The location was good, close to the BTS metro station and 15 minutes from the weekend market. There are a few restaurants closeby and 7-11. Overall, okay for a few days.

Negative: There was no hot water. When we messaged John he mentioned that the previous guest broke the hot water and he ordered a replacement. However, upon checking previous reviews, we noticed that several guests had the same issue, so I believe that the hot water won't be replaced anytime soon. It's not the first time in SEA, and we booked several times places where they mentioned that there was no hot water, so if this is the case, it would be better to mention it so people are aware. The mattress is very uncomfortable.

Summary: Close to BTS, 15 min away from the weekend market, no hot water

Positive: The property had everything we needed with a shower, fridge, hairdryer, clean bedding. It was neat and tidy and we cannot fault the host who was very friendly and welcoming plus extremely quick to respond to our questions and give us local recommendations. The location was outside of the centre so was much quieter at night for sleeping but was close to public transport which was really easy to use

Negative: Unfortunately the bed was extremely uncomfortable - very hard mattress which we are not used to sleeping on
