Positive: The location was ideal for us to explore Orkney by bicycle. The house was in a nice quiet street only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Kirkwall and very convenient for the terminal for ferries to the northern islands. The house was spacious, comfortable, very clean and well maintained. The owner very kindly supplied us with some local produce which got our stay off to a great start. There was a large rear garden with a shed which we were able to store our bicycles in. Good communications from the owner about how to access the house and where we could store our bikes.

Summary: Ideal house - will definitely be our first choice for any future trips to Orkney.
