Welcome to La Tassetière, a pretty rural gîte restored in 2010, located in a quiet area, in Houssay (essential shops in the village) and about ten kilometers from the Vendôme TGV station (ideal for getaways to Tours or Paris). Near your accommodation you will find paths for hiking or cycling, between fields, vineyards and the Loir. You are just a few minutes from Vendôme, where you can stroll and discover a pretty town full of history. Don't miss Lavardin, one of the most beautiful villages in France, or the troglodyte village of Trôo, the gardens of Plessis-Sasnières or La Possonière (Ronsard's birthplace). In summer, world cultures come together at the Montoir Traditional Dance and Music Festival (8 km away).
