The chalet is located on the top of the resort.
The residence "Les Chalets du Mercantour" is made up of a collective chalet and above four rows of individual chalets.
The garages of the individual chalets are located on the first floor of the collective building (access by elevator).
Access to the ski area by a track starting in front of the building (we put in the garage), return by a track arriving between the second and third row of cottages).

Summary: Beatrice was an amazing host, helped with all enquiries, accommodated a late checkout and even loaned us a sewing kit for our sons split salopettes. The chalet is well presented, sufficiently sized with a fantastic view of the slopes. The kitchen worked well for us, the beds are comfy and bathroom is modern. Underfloor heating is a nice touch. Some might find the stairs from the road a little tiring but if you’re on an activity holiday then these shouldn’t put you off.. Will definitely stay here again if heading to back to Isola. Thanks again Beatrice..

Summary: Very good stay although could do with mirrors in bedrooms and a bin in the toilet…. Cutlery and glasses and mugs weren’t the cleanest but we just washed them before using them. Perhaps a little warning of how many steps there are up to the chalet. Bed in second bedroom could do with a headboard .Communication was good and over all pleasant to stay in.

Summary: The chalet was perfect, very warm and cosy with great access to the slopes and facilities to store our skis. The host Beatrice was incredibly lovely and very helpful. Highly recommended in every way.

Summary: This chalet was perfect for us, a family of four. Very cozy warm place. Its heated floors are so nice. This house has everything we needed. Ski-in/ski-out option is great. Having a garage was essential when it was snowing non-stop a week. There is a dozen of local restaurants and they are all very good, especially those on the slope, which you can also walk over for dinner. Isola 2000 is a bit remote compare to other ski resorts, and this is an upside - everything is much more affordable here, and there's absolutely no lines on lifts or restaurants, and that was their busiest time, a major France national school vacation week. Our host Beatrice was always responsive and available on a moments notice. Her neighbor Bernard is amazing retired engineer who lived in the US. He explained, helped us with a few things. If felt very home-like safe and cozy there. Highly recommend.

Summary: The chalet is right up on the hill, which makes it very quiet and private. Its a bit of a hike into town, but not too bad, and considering you are there to ski, you should be at least a little bit fit! The chalet is also ski-able - in the morning, we'd walk down to the main garage, pick up our skis and ski down from there. In the evening, you can ski back to the road just below the chalet, and then we'd drop our skis down to the garage for the next morning. The chalet has everything you need and was nice and warm.
