Positive: The apartment is very spacious, it is much bigger than most places we stayed at in England The windows are large and offer amazing view The property has private parking (which we didn't use) but for those who travel on a car this could be great bonus The location is right in the center of York, yet very quiet The beds are very comfortable (one room had two twins and one had a double)

Negative: On entering/leaving we had to use the gate with a code lock (this is on top of apartment door lock and hall door lock, so 3 locks alltogeher), A bit of a nuisance if you don't travel with car

Positive: Simply fabulous! A huge apartment, perfectly clean, tastefully but not ostentatiously decorated, very bright, with a magnificent view of the Minster. The beds are comfortable and all the amenities work perfectly (Wi-Fi, fridge, freezer, shower, etc.). Without doubt one of the two most beautiful holiday homes I have ever stayed in ! Thank you to Clarissa for her kindness and availability. Only one major flaw, but a significant one... the stay was much too short 😉😀 !

Negative: I had to deal with two contacts. The first via Skyes Cottages, a rental agency with an impersonal and imprecise welcome. The second via another telephone number which led me to Clarissa (who I don't know if she is part of this agency or no), but whose welcome and the precision of the answers were impeccable !

Positive: Self catering with fully equipped kitchen and dining table and chairs. Original artwork on nearly every wall. Wonderful views of the Yorkminister out each window. Large rooms. Price.

Negative: Nothing we did not like. Imagine visiting friends who are away during your stay and they have thought of EVERYTHING you might need or want. Amazing apartment.

Negative: Beds a little hard, but this is just a personal choice and does not take any points away from this gem of an air bnb.

Positive: Location excellent so central, secure gate parking, view of the Minster could not fault the accommodation and location

Negative: Not a problem for us but is up 2 flights of stairs, sound proofing could be better. Could here neighbours TV. Maybe blackout blinds in bedrooms.
