Positive: well designed, love the styling, so clean it was like we were the first people to have ever stayed, kitchen a high point, patio is a luxury addition, lots of little clever and well considered details… I think you could do more with the photography to show it off better as it was much better than we expected!

Negative: the sofa wasn’t very comfortable

Positive: John and Thora were exceptional hosts and they really couldn't have done any more for us. Minor issues were resolved immediately and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the holiday cottage. The cottages are in a fabulous location, within 15 minutes drive of Pontypridd where we have family. We have tried several locations in and around Pontypridd over the years, but this property was easily the best we have experienced in the area and makes it worthwhile travelling the extra distance. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable, with a nice shower room and excellent facilities for self catering. It also has a patio and enclosed private garden area, giving you a chance to get outside and see the view. It is very close to the Taff Trail cycle route, so is perfect for cyclists, walkers and hikers. We liked the small farm shop which sells eggs and honey from the farm and has an honesty box for payment.

Negative: As mentioned, minor issues were resolved immediately, which is the sign of a good property and caring hosts. John and Thora demonstrated that they are committed to outstanding service and they deserve to succeed.

Summary: Fabulous cottage in a stunning location. We'll be back!
