Summary: We were thrilled to stay in a lovely, elegant, comfortable mansion while we visited nearby Little Valley for the Village of Knives event. The house was a delight - from its spacious rooms, to the comfy period-style furniture, to all the conveniences we might have wished. We were in and out with no trouble, and were especially delighted with the very comfortable beds!

Summary: The property was not cleansed properly. As we drove up the driveway the grass was not well maintained there were weeds and overgrown grass everywhere. When we arrived coming into the side entrance my son almost fell due to a crack in the stairs and low night time visibility. It was dusty from the moment we entered especially the upstairs living space. The carpets were not clean and needed to be shampooed and vacuumed. In room 1 the top sheets had stains and hair particles. There was no outdoor space neither was there a "water view". The entrance to the side door had garbage. When property manager Cheryl was made aware of our dissatisfaction she was rude and unapologetic she then told me to "stop whining". Overall she was not a gracious host, I will say the house was very beautiful but it was in need of a professional cleaning.

Summary: The location was great, commuication with the hosts was great! I was suprised at how comfortable the beds were. Great accomodations for a family needing multiple bedrooms.

Summary: The best complement I can share is that I am a return renter of this property. Came for the skiing, but brought spouses this trip. The downstairs is conducive to gathering which we did during our 3 night stay.

Summary: We, five couples from Canada, stayed in this house for a 2-night 3-day golf trip last weekend. We were a little worried because it was an old house, but that worry was off the mark. The living room, kitchen, and each rooms were spacious enough. The internet was fast and there was nothing lacking. It was clean and good in every aspect, and the owner Justin also satisfied us in many ways with his quick responses. All 10 of our members were satisfied and promised to come back here next year..

Summary: Step back in time at this beautiful vintage mansion. The exterior stone and brick work is beautiful. The interior woodwork and inlaid floors are amazing to see . Very comfortable for a larger group. We had a great stay!

Summary: This house was beautiful and so unique! The front porch was a favorite place to sit and visit in hood weather. Inside there are plenty of open spaces for visiting in several areas as well! All the bedrooms and bathrooms are upstairs. It reminded me of an old rooming house back in the day! I would definitely come back again, but I’d bring some kitchen tools for cutting etc.

Summary: The ratings are from our first visit a year ago. We cancelled this trip when the host didn't send check-in instructions and we could not get into the house. A phone call the day before and upon arrival could not be completed because the voicemail box was full. A call to an alternate number was also not returned, at least not for 2 hours at which time we decided to cancel. Vrbo helped with this process and we are awaiting a refund. We loved the house last year, but after this experience, I'm not sure we'll go back.
