Summary: We had a very enjoyable Christmas with our family in this home once we were able to connect with the host. VRBO failed to communicate with him about our reservation and he went above and beyond to accommodate us after we contacted him for check in information. Considering he didn’t know we had booked until 3 days before he was amazing. I hope VRBO will do a better job notifying the property host in the future.

Summary: Really enjoyed this amazing property and the wildlife around it. Peaceful, quiet and an amazing view. Commication was ok and there was a slight sewer smell in laundry room. I reall enjoyed the stay and would definitely return

Summary: This property had everything we needed and more as far as kitchen items and was very roomy and spacious. There was 6 of us and we never felt on top of one another. The porch on the back was the focal point of our trip and we spent the majority of our time taking in the view and fresh clean air. We were disappointed with the hot tub as it wasn't clean enough to use. We have a hot tub or our own and understand how to clean one and while I understand this may be hard to maintain in that setting, more care and attention needs to be paid. Overall, the property was clean on the surface, but I do feel that a top to bottom deep clean is needed. While hot tub towels were provided, there were minimal bath towels. This is a perfect property for those travelers that don't mind being an hour out from the activities in the Black Hills. It did provide solitude for the most part. I would go back to this property again as not only did we like the house, but the town of Newcastle.

Summary: We booked this home to be closer to the Flying V Lodge (2 miles away) which is where my daughter’s wedding was being held. We arrived and were greeted by three beautiful buck deer on the lawn and several more across the road from the house. The house is nestled in the trees on the mountain side and is very peaceful. The home accommodated 4 adults and 4 kids ranging in age of 8 and 16. All the amenities you could think of were provided including lawn games like corn hole, crochet, and badminton. The fire pit and hot tub are an added bonus and just made our stay that much more pleasant. The large deck on the back of the house provided great views of the sunrise and the perfect place for your morning coffee and newspaper. The Owner was quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we may have had. As a new host to VRBO, the Owner was awesome and provided us a wonderful place to stay. We will be back!!
