Positive: The house was very comfortable, clean and very well decorated. The welcome pack was generous indeed and very much appreciated. Thank you.

Negative: Radiators were very hard to understand, being Spanish, but I worked them out. We would not have liked to have them not working, being as it was Easter time and cold in the evening.

Summary: Lovely accommodation in a pretty village, not too far from the AI. We really enjoyed our stay.

Positive: Carolyn was the perfect host - kept in contact during our stay as needed; bread, milk and biscuits left for us on arrival. The house is exactly as per the photos, very clean, all mod cons, comfy beds. The village is peaceful with a couple of pubs and a shop and an excellent butcher. A great base for exploring the Borders and the Northumberland coast.

Negative: Nothing - all good.

Positive: Beautiful cottage with everything you need. Lovely to have a shower and separate bath and to be able to put extra heating on if needed. Both bedrooms felt spacious and the rest of the cottage felt really roomy.

Positive: The host was polite, friendly and attentive with the few queries we had. She left a welcome basket with some lovely goodies in for our arrival. There was also a pint of milk in the fridge, which is handy .The property was well stocked with almost everything you could need, including guides to just about every local attraction. The neighbourhood is lovely and full of history being on the Scottish border. The neighbours were friendly. We used the village facilities, the bakery, local shop and the Masons arms pub. All were good quality. The WiFi was reliable and a decent speed, given it's a rural village. The village Norham is an excellent based for Berwick, Edinburgh, Bamburgh and Lindisfarne to name a few places.

Negative: There was no phone signal. Not that the host could do anything about that of course. We relied on WiFi calling.

Summary: One of the best places we've ever stayed in, in a lovely location with an excellent host.

Positive: This was the second time we have stayed at the property. It’s absolutely beautiful and well maintained. It looks small from the outside but is huge inside. It’s very quiet and the neighbours are very polite and welcoming

Negative: There is absolutely nothing to not like about this property !!

Summary: Beautiful, tranquil and relaxing and will definitely be returning for a third stay
