Positive: Quiet, comfortable beds, shower was good (even though it leaked), heating good, TV good.

Negative: Ran out of tea, sugar and toilet paper after 2 days into a 4 night stay. Property manager told us to go buy it ourselves, plus materials to make a fire as none are provided. Laundry detergent was also not provided even though the information pack said they were provided under the sink. So we had to buy that too. Also they say you can park anywhere on the street, which is technically true, but as we found out the neighbours don’t like it, and you have to park up against the trailer. The shower was great, but leaks, hence the two floor mats that they give you, so be careful what you put on the floor. We were also overwhelmed by the number of emails from the managing agency (not booking.com) to create accounts to manage the booking. The interaction with the property manager let us feeling unwelcome.

Summary: Comfortable, but be prepared to bring everything.

Positive: Bedrooms were very comfortable, and had a very fresh vibe. The Location, decoration, decent size bathroom .

Negative: There was an unpleasant smell in the lounge and a very damp smell in the laundry room/ bathroom area

Positive: Gorgeous spacious house in lovely location with great views from a few steps away. Hosts were lovely and house was nice and warm. Hosts left a nice welcome pack too :).

Negative: I couldnt figure out how to get normal TV channels on the smart tv.

Positive: An amazing location and a beautiful, comfortable and well equipped cottage that was perfect for our needs. There were instruction books for almost everything as well which was really helpful. So many thoughtful little things in the kitchen too including a cupboard of various herbs and spices etc.

Negative: It was cold initially and it took us a few days to figure out how to change the temperature.

Summary: A lovely, really well equipped cottage in a stunning location that I didn’t want to leave.
