Summary: Inviting, cozy, lovely surroundings. This property is exactly as described, and we very much enjoyed the sounds of the river rolling by. There were plenty of amenities inside and outside and our party of 8 was more than comfortable. The host was available and approachable and kind. Thank you for a really lovely, quiet, stay.

Summary: The house was a little hard to find the first day but we were fine getting around after that. We were welcomed by Sharon, who couldn’t have been more helpful. The house is very nice. It had everything we needed. The views were amazing and we loved just sitting on the front porch watching the river.

Summary: 6 of us were on the area for a family reunion in Grafton. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor space, with the younger of us having fun in the river. The house was really beautiful, and well-appointed. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. There's a lot of living space inside and out. The host lives next door and has 2 large, friendly dogs, who enjoyed visiting us. We hope to come back sometime, and sure hope to stay at this location; it was great!

Summary: Lovely house, very comfortable (we were eight) with many beautiful details. The front porch and back deck were favorite for hanging out. The area is gorgeous. The river was unfortunately too high for swimming, but the nearby Tygart lake is fantastic. Our multi-generation family had a great time and made lasting memories.

Summary: Need to unplug and unwind? This is the place for you. Two families (4 kids) stayed here. Enough space for the kids to do their own thing without bothering parents, when they weren't in the river. We spent most evenings sitting in the river, relaxing, while the kids tired themselves out. The location is close enough to horseback riding, rafting, visit museums.
