Summary: I was so excited to find this home to stay in during a family holiday weekend. My sister lives right around the corner so I was familiar with the rural setting and thrilled that there was a home so close to her rather than having to stay in Decatur. One amenity that we didn’t use but will keep in mind for future visits is that this home is handicap friendly with the exception of a downstairs shower. The first level is all floor, no bumps or awkward transitions and there is a small half bath accessible on that level. The room behind the kitchen would be a good location for someone with mobility issues. The home was so cute and comfortable. I would like to have had a dresser available to use in the bedroom but there was ample closet space so I was able to use that instead. The outdoor spaces are beautiful. I wish we had been able to stay more than a few days.

Summary: As locals looking to get away from it all and spend quality time with family, th is the perfect place to escape everyday life. time stands still here. the pond is perfect fishing for all ages. everything from the enclosed porch to the claw foot tub in the master bedroom made it possible to forget the rest of the world, even if for just a few days.

Summary: My husband and I hosted our wedding (intimate gathering, 12 of us) at this home, and let me just say this was by far the best decision we made! The home was so beautiful, both in decor and location. It was clean, and honestly, perfect. The large space was beautiful for spending time outside, going for a walk, and relaxing. We would LOVE to come and stay at this home in the future, and I cannot rate the hosts highly enough!
