Four bedroom French chalet in an elevated location on a scenic route with outstanding wide views over the Gironde estuary.
Set in large gardens, this is an excellent place for outdoor living, games, sunbathing and relaxing.
2 Miles (30 minute walk along quiet lane) to picturesque Mortagne port with waterfront restaurants and outside bars.
8 Miles to sandy beaches of Meschers sur Gironde and St. George de Didonne. There is a bus service in the Summer to the local towns and the coast.
The property is set in a large secure garden with playing field, fruit and herb garden, tree shade and sunny terraces.
The private swimming pool is fenced and has its own sun terrace.
The two patios and BBQ, plenty of outdoor furniture make this an ideal outdoor space.
All facilities are on a single floor with easy access. The panoramic windows in the large lounge and dining room make the most of the views. There is a modern kitchen and a separate large utility room.
Facilities include a dishwasher, washing machine, free wireless fibre broadband, smart TV with UK TV channels.
Sheets, pillowcases, bath towels and beach/pool towels are provided. We understand that guests sometimes prefer to bring their own bed linen and towels. If this is the case then please let me know at time of booking and I will remove the laundry charge (shown in the Price Details as Host fee).

Summary: Fabulous property with stunning views over the Gironde estuary, the photos do not do the view justice. The pool is a great size and the outdoor area is a great size. Indoors the property is well stocked and the inclusion of fans in each room was very welcome during our stay. Owner was very easy to deal with and while there were a couple of issues during our stay he responded swiftly and was helpful. Miss the sunshine and views already!

Summary: Lovely light filled property, well maintained heated pool. Would book again. Hosts very easy to reach and good at communicating. Thanks for the lovely welcome gifts too. If you like bird watching this is a great property to watch Black Kites, Egrets and Short Toed Eagles from the patio!

Summary: The rental of this house was great from start to finish. We loved everything about it; parents, grandparents and children alike. The house was so well equipped and was an excellent base for exploring a stunning coastline. We spent many happy hours in the pool and the sea breeze kept the heat off to a certain degree. Dan as a great host and we would definitely recommend this house.

Summary: This villa is easy to find and comes well equipped. The utility room contains fans, an additional fridge, books and games in addition to a very good clothes washing machine. The beds we used were most comfortable. The outside temperature during our visit was very high but by keeping the shutters closed the villa remained cool. The kitchen was fully equipped as indeed was the whole villa. Dealing with the owner was a easy, positive and a pleasure.

Summary: We found the property both clean and well stocked with all your holiday self catering needs. Being a bungalow and with 4 bedrooms it was perfect for us, especially for our Autistic daughter. The pool was fenced and well maintained. The garden was large and accommodating for fun games etc. and the views/sunsets were just amazing! Thank you Dan for a wonderful stay. 5 Stars all the way
