Positive: The location was good, the views were great, the house was warm and clean and there was parking for two cars

Negative: Some of the windows didn't open, there was mouldy loaf of bread in the bread bin, the outdoor patio had hundreds of old cigarettes stubs, there was nowhere near enough cups, plates etc, the small double bed was extremely un-comfy (needed a mattress topper at least), only one set of keys, we had to buy our own spoons (we left them for the next guest), the fridge was too small for the size of the house, two of the bathrooms had no windows, the booking info stated no parking (there was parking for two cars). There were lots of little maintenance issues, but they didn't affect our stay.

Summary: Nice location, comfortable house, but poor attention to detail by the owner.

Positive: Host had excellent communication and was always on hand to help. House was really nice and had everything needed for a short stay. 2 very spacious en-suite rooms and 2 smaller rooms. Nice view out to the marina from the back. Very quiet area which was perfect for our business trip.

Negative: £250 damage deposit is quite steep.
