Negative: I was asked to pay more than what had been stated in the invoice. Total charge was USD 36.41 however, the property asked me to Pay 550ghc which is equivalent to USD 52.65 This is very unfair even after a discussion on the same subject with that property, he insisted that I pay that amount in Ghana Cedi since I had no USD. This act is very unfair especially as there’s a rate of exchange for all currencies using reliable and accredited sources. I would recommend that booking add the currency of the property’s country i.e. “The Ghana Cedi” to avoid such disputes in future.
