Summary: The house was beautiful and comfortable- exactly as advertised. The location was perfect. I felt we were centrally located for all of our adventures. Brian was easy to communicate with and we appreciated his local recommendations for food and activities. We would honestly love to go back to explore more and have told all of our friends/family about the house.

Summary: My family (6 adults, 3 kids) traveled to Tennessee for a graduation in Johnson City. We were anout 30min from the ETSU campus. There wasnt much around, you had to drive about 10min to a gas station. But we definitely enjoyed watching the sunrise on the wrap-around porch! The place was very clean. There was ample space for everyone! The queen beds on the main floor were a little challenging for my older Aunt. It was a little high for her to get in by herself. But we have no complaints! We had a blast!

Summary: This is a pretty cabin in a very rural setting near the Watauga river. It has a lot of windows and we enjoyed watching the cows across the street, and we also saw baby lambs. The long mountain views are awesome - we saw them covered in snow!The inside of the cabin is nice and new; although minimally decorated. The beds were very comfortable; everyone enjoyed them.One interesting aspect of the cabin was the flies. It was strange seeing so many of them in the winter with temps in the teens. I suppose they're hibernating nearby. But in any case, there were many flies inside the cabin. Thankfully, they had plug in devices that attracted and killed them. But we swept up flies almost daily. Can't hardly imagine what it would be like in the summer. Maybe it's from the cows across the street, IDK.Anyway, a few ideas to make the stay even better for guests, and get to a "Premier Host" level:A few throw blankets in the living room. It gets chilly with all those windows. A few spare pillows in the bedrooms.Glass drinkware. At LEAST one set! It's no fun drinking out of plastic cups for Christmas dinner. A set of four or six GLASS wine glasses.More hand towels and kitchen towels. One dish towel for a week stay with cooking and cleaning in the kitchen is just not sufficient. One hand towel for each bathroom was also insufficient.I think this cabin is mostly meant for fishermen on the Watauga, but it could be much more with a few changes. We enjoyed our stay!

Summary: Absolutely the most relaxing trip! The cabin size and the amenities were perfect. Considering the devastation of the hurricane to East Tennessee, we were so worried about the trip. The host was very helpful on different things we could do and even have snap shots for the directions. It was a fabulous time! Thank you so much!! The communication was spot on for every concern or question. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking to get away and relax!!
