Positive: We had a fantastic week at Sunnyside Terrace! The location is perfect — close to everything Matlock has to offer but still peaceful and relaxing. The property itself is cosy, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed for our 7-day stay. The hot tub was a real highlight after long days exploring the area, and it was always clean and ready to use. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and on call whenever we had a question, which made the stay completely stress-free. We’d happily recommend Sunnyside Terrace to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the Peak District — we’re already looking forward to coming back!

Positive: Lovely cottage, it was clean with everything you could need. Host were friendly and helpful. Central location to explore peak districts, lots of lovely walks nearby. Hot tub was great. Bed was comfortable, and interior of cottage very cosy .

Positive: The hosts were friendly with good communication. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with homely touches and comfortable beds. Loved the hot tub and the views were amazing. Lovely stay 💕

Negative: The bed in the main bedroom could of been bigger and the garden could have been prettier. The stairs were steep, but to be expected, but mostly it was excellent.

Positive: Excellent hosts, so many extras e.g. pots, pans, games. cupboard full of things for children to do. The hot tub was amazing. They have thought of everything. Beautiful cottage, near activities. Would be very cosy in the winter too.

Negative: Very hilly may not be suitable for elderly people if they do not have transport but was no problem for us. A little trek for food supplies.

Summary: Very enjoyable, relaxing. Amazing hosts, available if needed. Many thanks to them.

Positive: We went with 2 under 3’s and they owners provided a high chair, stair gate and travel cot for us which was great. There was a nice amount of space and the hot tub was a lovely treat.

Negative: Just be careful as the stairs are narrow
