Summary: We stayed here two nights with our family of four. The apartment is amazing with modern appliances and amenities. The location is wonderful. The view of the cathedral is fantastic. Bruno is such a kind and welcoming host and he was very responsive and helped us with check-in and check out.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay in Bruno’s apartment. It’s a large, nicely modern attic in a classical building, with skylights that provide excellent light and air, comfortable furniture and a full kitchen (although we ate out during our stay). The bathrooms are modern with new fixtures and plenty of hot water. Some Americans might call the showers small, but they are what one expects in a re-done European apartment. I’m 6’1” and had no problem.The only (minor) negative is that the layout of the bedrooms might be awkward for two unrelated couples because the second bedroom is accessed through the first.We had a rental car and parked in a (free) outdoor lot that Bruno recommended. It was about a 7-minute walk from the apartment; however, there is a paid lot that is closer. We were able to pull up right in front of the apartment for luggage handling.Bruno is a charming host and we would stay in the apartment again.

Summary: The apartment was exactly has described in the ad. Everything was clean and the view was beautiful. The three flights of stairs can be a challenge. Thank goodness Bruno was there to help with luggage. The town of Bayeux is delightful.

Summary: Incredible views over the rooftops of Bayeaux to the cathedral. Would absolutely stay here again. Apartment was perfectly appointed with everything we needed for our stay. Communication with Bruno was very easy and timely. The apartment is exactly as pictured and described in reviews. Like most places in France there are some stairs and low ceilings but these only add to the charm. Easy walking distance to old town for restaurants, shopping and the tapestry

Summary: The apartment is on the top floor of a historic building. Through the skylights you have a wonderful view of the cathedral while residing in a very beautiful environment. Bruno was such a great host - very responsive and helpful. The property was clean and well furnished with amenities for our stay, featuring a lovely gift of famous butter cookies. It was well worth a few flights of stairs to end up in such a lovely and well maintained apartment. We highly recommend it.

Summary: We went to Bayeux specifically to take the WWII tour and chose Bruno’s VRBO to stay based on photos and information. This delightful and spacious apartment is in the best location! We walked ten minutes to the pick up point for tours. There are many restaurants and shops just steps away in this historic town which was not destroyed in the war. Bruno is an excellent host, speaks English, helped with our bags, left us cookies and juice to enjoy and the unit is fully equipped for travelers. Be aware that the apartment is on the top floor so if you can’t do steps this place won’t work for you. All four of us gave our stay an excellent rating.
