Negative: We got 2 parking fines. Need residential permit to park. That was very frustrating finding parks and moving cars around.

Positive: Location was great for transport, pubs and restaurants. Would recommend for family of four who want to explore Sydney. Will come again.

Negative: Sometimes the wifi would drop out which makes things hard when you are planning your next day, but minor issue when you can go and plan over a beer 100m up the road.

Positive: Location is great. Very close to shops, pubs and restaurants and a 15 min drive into the city and to ferry terminal

Negative: Probably wouldn’t recommend staying here with young children as there is a lot of furniture/knick knacks at the house and very minimal yard and indoor space.

Positive: Location very good. handy to shops and restaurants. Only a short distance from Sydney CBD. Nice little balcony at front upstairs. Although fairly pleasant sadly a lot of issues lets the place down.

Negative: Although 'quirky' and on arrival seemed clean, it wasn't. Walked around indoors one day in bare feet. Half an hour later my feet were 'black'. In my opinion, carpet and floors need a thorough clean. There was a dirty comb left just under side of main bed and a tissue under side of bed in second bedroom. The garden furniture was old and tatty and almost unusable. Weber BBQ was very rusty. Only one tea towel in kitchen and no hand towel. The place was extremely cluttered, way too much furniture. Lots of lamps (hardly any ceiling lights downstairs) but so dim you couldn't read by them ! Couldn't use portable air con in second bedroom as outlet would not fit in hole in door as caretaker said it would. Last couple of days the electricity keep flicking itself off, despite us not switching anything additional on. After phoning the caretaker a neighbour came and sorted it, but 2 hours later it went off again. Told company but no 'recompense ' offered. There were power cords everywhere, plugged into each other. In my opinion a 'fire waiting to happen' !! This place has a lot of potential but as it is priced very high I believe it needs a lot of TLC to bring it up to scratch. Shame as it could (and should) be so nice.

Positive: Location was perfect. Close to shops & restuarants. Easy walk to parks and to Balmain hub. Interior of house was beautifully presented and equipped with everything you could want. Upstairs decks and rear courtyard are very private and great areas to relax and enjoy.

Negative: We are used to sleeping in a king size bed so we did find the bed in the main bedroom a tad small.

Summary: Absolutely loved the house and the location, would definitely consider staying there again.
