Summary: A fantastic base from which to explore North Wales, within easy driving distance of Bangor, Caernarfon and Conwy. Greenwood park a couple of minutes away very popular with our kids.

Summary: Lys Aled is a lovely if slightly dated house but not for anyone with mobility problems as there are 8 (?) steps down to the front door & at the back there are 2 levels of patios. The views of the Menai Strait & Anglesey (directly across the strait from the house) are beautiful as are the sunsets. It is well situated (via car)for places of interest. A welcome 'pack' of tea, coffee & bara brith cake was in the kitchen.

Summary: Lovely accommodation in an ideal location for carmarthen, Bangor and Snowden with gorgeous views over the Meanai strait to Angkesey, lovely pictures of the sunsets captured! Clean, well proportioned 3 bed home, very warm and all the kitchenware you could need and then some! Would highly recommend for familes or groups, nice little pub 5 minute walk down the hill with fantastic food and views across the road gro. A children's park my children enjoyed visiting.
