Summary: Amazing find. We were looking for a last minute weekend getaway and came across this lovely cottage. Carol greeted us with a big smile and gave us all the info we needed. Cottage was warm, extremely clean and had everything we needed. Malmesbury is just up the road. Abbey Gardens worth a visit. They sell snacks and a decent coffee. Summary: The Old Stables is in a fantastic location on a farm, but only 10 minutes walk across fields to 2 local pubs, a small Co-op and post office. There are lots of walks to do straight from the front door, there is a small south-facing garden to sit in when the sun is shining, the accommodation was very clean, and we had a friendly welcome. There is a bit of noise early in the morning from the woodpigeons and jackdaws, but only to be expected in the countryside. The freezer wasn't working very well on our stay, but it wasn't a major problem for us. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
